Hello, my name is Carlos J. EasyBake and I am 24 years old. I love to bake, get tattooed, and wear t-shirts.

After writing songs for several years, I decided to sell my synthesizer and used the money to start my own baking, lifestyle collective: Oven Fresh Dreams. Baking has always been in my blood; my grandma (the person in which this collective is dedicated to) worked for 15 bakeries in New York throughout her lifetime and even called me EasyBake growing up. The nickname originated when I assisted her in the kitchen, slowly picking up techniques. To further enhance my baker’s thumb, I enrolled in culinary school with the help of my friends and family.

However…

Baking isn’t the only passion in my life. I am an extremely active t-shirt collector and a member of the tattoo community. Most of my inspiration comes from clothing brands such as Paul Frank, Johnny Cupcakes, Benny Gold, Desired Hearts (now a defunct brand), and Nick Automatic. The passion and artistic vision behind tattoo artists and t-shirt designers inspire me to take O.F.D to unreachable heights. With that being said, I take great pride in teaming up with artists, graphic designers, and indie brands to produce a collection of print and t-shirt collaborations. There is nothing more important to me than helping artists share their talents through this medium.

Oven Fresh Dreams is a New York based website. However, I moved to Texas in 2009 to broaden my horizon for about seven months. The link from the south to the east coast was filled with a variety of influences. As of right now Oven Fresh Dreams is only a baking, lifestyle website; I hope to change that by opening up my own bake shop in the likeness of my passions. In the meantime, don’t be surprised if you see the Oven Fresh Dreams logo at your local farmer’s market, tattoo shop, or craft fair!

Word of mouth is the most valued and effective form of promotion. I have been blessed with a following of friends and family, who promote my vision daily.
